From humble beginnings in the West Sussex countryside, over two decades has seen Aquilar establish itself as a market leader in the leak detection sector as well as being the leading partner for TraceTek. Aquilar is continually developing new products to meet the changing standards in the building industry.
Managing Director, Julian Waumsley, reflects:
“What an amazing journey it has been so far – starting Aquilar in a small office in Rusper in 2000, growing the business and team. Then moving to a newly-renovated office in Horsham town centre in 2009 before growing the team even further and moving to larger premises in Broadbridge Heath in 2019, achieving our best ever results.
In that time we have sold enough sensing cable to go around the world twice along with 10,000 probes!
It is still fascinating to see such a diverse range of new applications that our customers discover – Large Hadron Colliders, Lighthouses, Krispy Kreme Concessions and even land speed record attempt rocket cars! It’s good to keep challenging our design capabilities to offer the appropriate solutions.
